Learning trips
Each semester, several learning trips are organised to visit Russia and learn more outside of the classroom about the country, its lifestyle and culture.
There are two trips planned for the 2018/2019 academic year: One in autumn and one in spring. In the autumn semester of 2018/19, the trip to St. Petersburg–Moscow–Pskov will very likely take place 11-15 October 2018.
The trip is part of the course HVLC.05.015 Russian Language and Culture Course for Foreign Students (3 ECTS).
During the course we will visit Russia for five days. Before the trip you will be divided into two groups according to the language level. After crossing the Russian border, you will get the study materials, which correspond to your language level. There will be tasks in Russian and English on every day of the trip. The tasks fall into different categories depending on your level on Russian.
You don't need to register to the course yourself, the lecturers will provide the complete list of students registered to our coordinator. Keep in mind that this is a language course, not a tourist trip and you will need to do exercises in order to get a positive result.
The first meeting and registration for the course will take place on 7th September at 16:00 (Jakobi 2, room 130). Should there be any changes, you'll receive the most recent information via the international students' mailing list.
Please come in person and have with you:
- your passport (expiration date must be at least 6 months from the trip date)
- a colour photo (3,5x4,5, white background, serious face)
- the prepayment for the trip (usually 150€)
