Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian Cultural History
Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian Cultural History is a course held every autumn semester as a part of the curriculum of Baltic studies. All international students are welcome to take this course, since it introduces important aspects of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian culture and society and will give an awareness to be able to analyse general cultural differences between Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Topics covered for each country are - general demographic information, the official language in general, a short overview of the countries' history, folk culture, literature, art and film, music, contacts between society and culture, the culture of science and practical language.

The course starts on the first week of September and lasts for 15 weeks. The first meeting is on the 3rd of September.
