The College of Foreign Languages and Cultures will offer 2 scholarships, which cover the tuition fee of the course. The scholarship was created to honour the contribution and support by Epp-Karike Jürima Sonin. The main target group includes applicants with Estonian roots and motivated learners who don't qualify for student scholarships. Of course, we also welcome everyone else to apply as well.
In order to apply for the scholarship please submit your application to the summer course here and upload a motivation letter (not longer than approx 1 A4 page) on your connection to Estonia and why you wish to learn Estonian.
German students (incl. foreign students studying in Germany) can apply for a grant as part of the Go East summer school program at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The scholarship consists of living expenses, travel expenses and course fees. For more information, visit the Go East summer school webpage.
There are two types of scholarships you can apply for. Please note that although the coordinating institution is the same, the conditions for applying and the documents you need to submit may not be the same. You can read more about both scholarships on the homepage of StudyinEstonia.ee (not yet fully updated! (14.01.2019)) and on the homepage of the Archimedes Foundation (direct links provided below).

Scholarships for summer and winter language courses. Apply for the scholarship separately from our summer school application! For more information visit their home page.
We highly also recommend turning to your local universities, your employer, cultural institutions or local funding authorities who could support your participation in the courses
The Archimedes Foundation offers foreign students free places at Estonian language and culture courses organised by Estonian universities in 2018.

https://goeast.daad.de/de/25457/index.html
Das zweigleisige Bewerbungsverfahren sieht vor, dass Interessenten sich parallel bei der Sommerschule um eine Zulassung und beim DAAD um ein Stipendium bewerben.
Continuing your studies is highly encouraged. If you've participated in our summer school before and would like to take the next level, don't hesitate to apply for a scholarship again.
Scholarship receivers are announced differently. Depending on the scholarship, the fund may inform you directly via e-mail or there may be a list of scholarship receivers posted on their homepage (+ waiting lists). Either way, we advise you to read all the information about any dates or deadlines carefully on their homepages or information letters (if provided). If you have trouble finding the necessary information, don't hesitate to contact us at keeled [ät] ut.ee or the scholarship providers directly.
