levels and topics
The Estonian summer courses are divided into different modules according to language levels and skills. The lessons take place in the UT Moodle environment and via Zoom, the teacher of each module shall use additional online environments for games or group work depending on the number of learners and the general group dynamics. Our teachers are all native speakers of Estonian who have a long experience in practical language training and also teaching the same skills in an online format, so the classes are kept engaging and fun.
All groups share an integrated culture programme. Although the courses in 2021 shall take place online, and we cannot take you on an actual tour of meeting our nature, historic old towns and modern vibrant cities, we shall provide virtual tours of museums and exhibitions, movie events and online workshops, which require you to move about. Given the online format, there shall be a healthy balance between live-streams and pre-recorded materials. The detailed culture programme is tailor-made each year and will be announced after the confirmation of groups to best meet the potential interests of our participants.
