During the course there are two trips to different regions in Estonia. Differences between northern and southern Estonia will be revealed regarding the culture, language and also daily life (in the town and in the country).
Different museums will be visited. For example, the university museums: including a tour of the historic main building, lock-up and history museum, which is located in a 13th century cathedral, and the new the Estonian National Museum, which is an extraordinary site both in terms of its content and the premises alone.
Educational and entertaining workshops are organized, e.g. a notebook workshop at one of the most popular "museums" in Tartu - TYPA (Printing and Paper Art Centre), cooking Estonian food together and of course we shall go sledging, snow-tubing, skiing or skating together as it's what we Estonians do in winter.
Students have the opportunity to watch plenty of Estonian movies ranging from classics to more contemporary works.
